Account Executive (remote/full-time)

Description: Are you a people-person interested in helping local businesses thrive? Do you have the marketing and sales skills needed to create effective advertising campaigns for a variety of businesses? One to Know Magazine is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Advertising Account Executive to join our team. The account executive is responsible for fully understanding our client’s needs and determining whether our magazine can meet those needs. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs.
  • Making cold calls or reaching out to prospects.
  • Following up with prospects several times throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met.
  • Developing sales strategies 
  • Maintaining a database of contact information.
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s (preferred).
  • Sales experience: 1 year (preferred).
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Computer skills, especially MS Office and CRM software.
